The eyelids are one of the first features to show signs of aging of the face. These under-eye bags and excess skin on the eyelids often gives an individual a tired and sad look. Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) can address these conditions.
Eyelid surgery removes excess skin from the eyelids, and removes excess fat from around the eyes. My goal is to produce pleasing results to my patients look naturally alert, youthful and well rested. In the same operation, mid-face lifting is also applied if necessary. The aim is to get a younger, rested and natural look.
The needs and expectations of each patient are different. For this reason, I plan the surgery according to the patient’s needs and desires. Patients with severe eye diseases such as dry eye syndrome, hyperthyroidism, and glaucoma are not good candidates for this surgery. The ideal candidate should be in good health and reasonable expectations of surgery.
